ESCAPE TIME! is a playful venue for fans of escapist literature. If you haven't yet discovered it, novels can take you places you don't have the ability to travel to in real life. Great novels turn their own pages and refuse to leave your hands. When real life gets you down, pick up a good book.
What does Escape Time mean, exactly? It has several meanings for this author. The first is already stated: escaping reality by reading a good book [or in the case of the author--writing a great book]. Such a piece can literally cause you to forget about the time as you read. One of KC's stories is an epic space fantasy about a young man who is trying to escape the paradoxes of time travel, and she hopes that as you read it, you too will lose time. KC has lived on the front lines of life and has learned through those bumpy roads that both reality and escapism have their places in life.
